LARA
EMOND

As founder of Nordet & Co, a creative strategy, design and marketing studio, Lara works with entrepreneurs and leaders of growing organizations in Canada and abroad.

Recruited while completing her studies in business administration, she began her career at Simons as a buyer. She then set up the 1st edition of the Startup Weekend in Quebec City and coordinated a trade mission to China. Convinced that entrepreneurship is the best way to have a positive impact on society, she created the Nota Bene organization in 2012 in order to connect the next generation of entrepreneurs with leaders in different industries.

Shortly after, she co-founded the Sub Rosa Group on the premise that companies with high growth potential benefit from going beyond borders. The company focuses its services on market development supported by 360° marketing strategies. Responsible for business development, she has signed over a hundred clients, including Desjardins and C2. Over the years, Lara has carried out numerous international mandates and taken part in trade missions in Europe, Latin America and Asia (Australia, China, India, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, etc.). En sold her shares in the company in 2018.

Lara is one of the youngest Certified Corporate Directors (CCD). Having served on a dozen boards, she has developed a sought-after expertise in governance. She is currently a director of the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec, the Institut québécois de planification financière, the Fondation Dufresne et Gauthier and the Office franco-québécois pour la jeunesse (OFQJ). She was a director of Centraide Québec and a member of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO from 2012 to 2019 where she succeeded in obtaining the right to vote for youth.

Iris+Arlo - 2023

Noir.png

Iris + Arlo was born out of personal frustration. For many years, I had been searching for THE brand that fit me for that slightly frustrating time that inevitably comes around every month. Yet, after nearly a decade of watching the market, testing products, researching, I still haven't found anything.

Created by and for menstruating people, Iris + Arlo is a social and environmental impact brand focused on global health, offering healthy, sustainable, and designer products. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Iris + Arlo is more than just a brand; we are a movement towards equity and inclusion.
