ABOUT
With a bachelor's degree in business administration, Lara Emond co-founded the Sub Rosa Group in 2015. Founded on the premise that local companies with strong growth potential often need to go beyond borders in order to experience interesting growth, the company has focused its services on market development supported by 360 communication and marketing strategies.
Responsible for business development, she has gained the trust of more than a hundred clients such as Desjardins and C2. Lara has carried out many international mandates and has taken part in trade missions in Europe, Latin America and Asia (Australia, China, India, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, etc.).

EXPERIENCE

Following the sale of her shares in 2018, Lara founded Nordet & Co, a firm coaching leaders of growing organizations both in Canada and abroad via strategic planning, business strategy, commercialization, market development and marketing services.
Lara also co-founded the Nota Bene organization whose mission is to connect emerging entrepreneurs with leaders in various industries and to stimulate entrepreneurship.
A Certified Corporate Director (CCD), Lara has developed an expertise in governance and has served on nearly a dozen boards of directors since 2012. She is currently a director of the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec and the Dufresne and Gauthier Foundation. She previously sat on the board of directors of Centraide Québec and was a member of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO from 2012 to 2019 where she succeeded in obtaining the right to vote for youth.

Inspired by the positive impact she can have in society, her leadership is recognized by many organizations. She was recently a finalist in the Arista contest, named in the top 30 under 30 by Infopresse and Vice, and received the Prix Jeunes diplômés from Laval University as well as the Prix reconnaissance jeunesse - Axe entrepreneuriat from the Government of Quebec. She was also selected as one of the top 30 under 30 by La Presse and is listed as one of the 25 leaders who will move Quebec by Les Affaires. Involved in mental health, she volunteers with the Relief expertise center (formerly Revivre) to break the taboos related to anxiety, depressive and bipolar disorders.
Advocating a human approach to business, Lara is often asked to share her ideas on entrepreneurship and social involvement as a speaker and panelist at various events in Quebec and abroad. With her ease of communication, she regularly contributes to the publication Premières en affaires. It is clear that her dynamism leaves no one indifferent!
